Skyhaven Wins CRADA with Sandia National Laboratories for the Efficient and Safe Hydrogen Refueling of Fuel Cell Vehicles from an Emergency Chemical Hydride Storage Source

February 2, 2019 – Under the Department of Energy’s High Performance Computing for Materials (HPC4Mtls) in Applied Energy Technologies Program, a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) was awarded to Skyhaven Systems, LLC working with the Sandia National Laboratory. Under this CRADA, Sandia is using its high-performance computing capabilities and technical experts in modeling of materials development to assist Skyhaven in developing a hydrogen refueling system for fuel cell vehicles. This collaborative agreement between Skyhaven and Sandia is helping to address technical challenges associated with thermal management and hydrogen delivery from the refueler to produce a technically and economically viable refueler product.
